Whilst there are a fairly extensive network of pistes, the village of Bardonnecchia is relatively small and as such doesn’t cater well in terms of non-skiing activities. There are a good selection of ski schools which offer group and private lessons for children and a number of areas of the mountain are designated for sledging too.

The snow tubing track is a highlight and can be accessed via the magic carpet at the Campo Smith area. Snow tubing involves sitting on a donut-shaped rubber ring and sliding at quite a speed down the slope. Its fun for both adults and children and you can fly down the slope solo or link up in a chain! The resort has a public swimming pool in the Campo Smith area too.
